🌟 Join Us for Our First General Discussion Round! 🌟
Are you a student in the Physics Department looking to share your thoughts and experiences with fellow physicists at the university? We invite you to our inaugural discussion round, where students of all levels can come together to engage in meaningful conversations about the challenges they face and interests they share. The discussion rounds will take place once a semester and aim to foster connections across generations of physics students, bringing together Bachelor and Master students, doctoral researchers, postdocs, and recent graduates who have transitioned into industry. It’s a unique opportunity for younger students to gain insights into the various levels of academia, and get advice from the more experienced, and for those on the other side to be privy to the struggles faced by their younger colleagues. .
📅 Date: May, 9th
🕒 Time: 3pm
📍 Location: 01.683
This is also a chance to get to know physicists outside your immediate cohort, and to create and be part of a supportive community within our department! Whether you’re looking for guidance, networking opportunities, or simply wish to share your thoughts, this is the place for you! If none of that convinces you, there will also be coffee and cake. Feel free to don your baker’s hats and bring some yourselves!
Everyone is welcome! Come as you are, and let’s start a conversation, as a first step towards making academia a better place for all.
✨ See you there! ✨
